Eco Mind School
Through this initiative, we aim to integrate environmental values, practices, and education into the school environment, turning each campus into a living model of sustainability.
Setting up Eco Clubs to engage students in weekly environmental activities like planting, clean-up drives, and nature walks. Classrooms adopt green habits like using less plastic, saving paper, and conserving electricity.
Creating organic kitchen gardens where students grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Compost pits are used to convert food waste into natural fertilizer, teaching kids about waste-to-resource practices.
Installing small-scale rainwater harvesting systems and educating students about water conservation with practical demonstrations.
Color-coded bins in schools for paper, plastic, and organic waste. Students lead awareness campaigns about reducing single-use plastics and recycling creatively.
Every student plants and nurtures a tree as a "Green Buddy." Small biodiversity corners with bird feeders, flowering plants, and butterfly zones are created on campus.
Hosting environment days like Earth Day, World Water Day, or Van Mahotsav with poster-making, debates, skits, and recycling challenges to make eco-learning fun and engaging.
