The Traditional Tree Plantation Initiative by Green Leaf Trust is rooted in long-term environmental restoration. Based in Ahmedabad, the organization promotes greener neighborhoods through large-scale plantation drives, awareness building, and strong community partnerships.
Established in 2018 under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, Green Leaf Trust focuses on environmental conservation through tree planting, education, and public engagement. Trees are treated as living infrastructure that improves air quality, shade, biodiversity, and urban resilience.

Traditional Tree Plantation Drives
Green Leaf Trust organizes tree planting activities across schools, housing societies, industrial zones, and government organizations. These drives are designed to involve residents, students, and professionals in direct environmental conservation work while improving local green cover in a visible way.
Mission Green Ahmedabad
In collaboration with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Bureau Veritas Group, the trust launched Mission Green Ahmedabad. The campaign has successfully planted over 50,000 trees, contributing significantly to the city's green cover and creating a strong model for organized civic participation.
Green Leaf Adoption Program
This initiative encourages individuals and institutions to adopt and nurture trees over time instead of limiting support to plantation day alone. The program strengthens environmental stewardship and builds a deeper connection between communities and the spaces they help restore.
